A part of Play Ball Indiana’s vision and mission is to help develop the youth into “Major League Citizens”. In order to truly reach the youth in Indianapolis, the prospective talent and help improve their quality of life both on the ball field and in the game of life we rely on the generous time and energy put into our program by our family of volunteers.
As our RBI Indianapolis baseball and softball programs continue to grow and we strive to reach further into the under-served neighborhoods in Indianapolis we need more support than ever and we want you in our dugout.
You don’t have to be a baseball or a softball fan, we are just looking for people that are wanting and willing to invest in the youth, believe that through the power of hard work, dedication, positive mental attitude any goals or dreams that are set can be met.
Volunteer roles and responsibilities we are currently seeking include: Umpires, Coaches, Park Staff Support, Field and Facilities Maintenance Staff, Concession Stand Operations, Trainers, Professional and Personal Mentors and RBI Administration Interns.
If you are interested in finding out more about the program and ways you can be involved contact Daniel N. Hoffman Director of Marketing & Community Outreach
Our annual Super Bowl Pizza Party was another great success this year. Because of the hard work we receive from parents, coaches, staff as well as the dedication of our RBI Indy kids to raise support for the upcoming season.
We would like to thank our sponsor Land O’ Frost as well as our community partners Indy Parks Brookside Park Community Center for helping provide the opportunity for our players to participate in the fundraising event.
