Every year the ground thaws, the birds migrate back, the grass turns from a wilted brown to a earthy green. That means one thing. Baseball and softball season is here.
As you can imagine our fields take a beating through the winter months and it takes a lot of work to help restore them and get them ready for our RBI Indy players to start training and practices. We are thankful that we have the support of Lids & Lids Foundation who continue to step up to the plate and help us with a Community Volunteer Day at Forest Manor Park on Indianapolis’s east side community.
It’s because of the good people and gracious support we receive from the staff at Lids & Lids Foundation that we are able to continue to provide a place for our kids to play this beautiful game. We tip our cap to them, and looking forward to another great season at our ball parks.
“Let’s get ready to play ball Indiana!”
